STETHS WALK AWAY FROM CENTRAL HURDLES WITH A WIN


DAVIAN DENNIS POSES WITH MEDAl

STETHS sent a small team of 18 to the central hurdles and relay meet at G.C. Foster college and we had mixed results. Our best performer for the meet was Davian Dennis in 100mh and we also ahd creditable performances for Kemar Mowat 100mh and also Jason Brown on the anchor leg of the third placing class 3 sprint relay team. We also had creditable perfonaces from Jermaine Scott and Christopher Spence in the Class 1 100m.

The environment of the meet was calm and not overcrowded however, the results were badly affected by monstrous headwinds all day.

STETHS HAD 5 A QUALIFIERS

OLIVER SMITH PERFORMER OF THE WEEK

Steths brought a small team to the annual kirkvine development meet and the atmosphere and climate was wonderful as what we have come to expect from the meet and the venue. We had five (5) 'A" qualifers among them are cl2: Demar Levy, Ronnell Deer and Jamie Demps in the 200m and cl3: Davian Dennis also in the 200m and oliver smith in the class 1 400m. Oliver was also choosen as the best performer for STETHS because he wasn't training for a month now because of illness and still ran a personsl best time. Below is the summary of STETHS results:

STETHS DID WELL AT THE COCAA FIRST CHANCE MEET

OKEEN WILLIAMS A DOUBLE WINNER

STETHS had a lot of creditable performance at the COCAA first chance meet at the Irwin High School in Mobay. Among them was Triple Class 4 winner in the 100m, 200m, and 400m, OKEEN WILLIAMS and also double class 3 winner in the 100m and 200m DAVIAN DENNIS. For the first time in a long while we did well in the class 1 short sprints, notching overall second place in the 100m through the rapidly improving CHADDIC HINDS and also second overall in the class 1 200m through NOEL HANSON who had two top ten placings atb the meet. Only one female competed for STETHS at the meet, TIFFANNY HARRIS who competed in the class 2 400m because there was no other class 1 females to compete with, she gave a credible performance with a secound place finish behind HMTHS's Seditha Palmer. However the surprise performance of the meet for STETHS was JASON BROWN who notched 2 secound place fininsh in the class 3 100m and 200m. The STETHS results can below.
